On an MLA format template, the quotes involve the page number and they are written in the brackets. If it refers to the work entirely, the page number is not to mention. There is also an indirect quotation in the text in which you should write the line with your own words without lessening the meaning of the quoted texts.

What are they? First, the title is underlined not being typed with the Italic format. Second, important words are capitalized. Third, the web address and URL are typed in angle brackets (<>).

Fourth, some sources in the list of Work Cited, the author’s name is written in the last-first order. For example, for the name “LouiseSmith”, it is written “Smith, Louise”. Meanwhile, if there is more than one author, the names are separated by commas and word “and” before the last names. If it is possible, the author’s middle name is written completely even if it is only the initial.

Fifth, on the MLA format template Google Docs, if it refers to a specific part in a work, the page numbers are included in the in-text citations. However, it is not included in the list of Works Cited. It is with exceptions the articles, journals, and documents that are not printed out.
